WHY OUR WASHBALE PAPER BASTES ARE OUR MASCOT?

We’re surely talking about one of our best seller products, the first which made us  believe in the philosophy of re-use, of simplicity and of innovation.

Our dining tables should never miss some bread during the meals. Not by chance,  we got inspired to our food tradition to realize our very first product.

During our meals we let our fantasy fly and we got that wrinkled paper bag with the  bread inside, delivered by the baker (we use to roll this bag up and display it in the  middle of the dining table as a bread-holder) and turned it into a luxury bag, durable  and washable: the bread basket.

HOW DID THE BREAD BASKET BECOME ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR UASHAMAMA PRODUCTS?

We have got a simple answer: our bread basket is not only a bread-holder, but it turned  into something able to contain any kind of object.

During the years it got nine different shapes and endless interpretations.

Our bread basket debuts on the dining tables in the paper-colour version, but in no  time it moves to the bathrooms, to the living-rooms, to the verandas and to the kids  rooms, hanging on the walls. It moves by following the rhythm of the seasons,  getting the coolest colour-shades and perfectly camouflaging into our spaces. It  becomes a real need, something we use during our everyday life without even  noticing.

HOW TO WASH A WASHABLE-PAPER BAG: INSTRUCTION FOR USE

1. Provide a basin. We recommend to fill it up with cold water, as every single colour can keep perfectly over time.

2. Use a natural soap, like the Marseille one: our grandma uses to hand wash the  most delicate cloth with outstanding results… that smells good!

3. After you soaped up, fully immerse the bag into the water and rub it with a  sponge.

4. Rinse the bag, squeeze it properly – do not worry, it can’t break or crush – and  as it doesn’t leak water anymore hang it like a t-shirt.

How about you? How do you use your washable-paper bags?
