WHAT MAKES UASHMAMA SPECIAL

We want to demonstrate to you, to ourselves, but above all to our great muse  Mother Earth, that UASHMAMA doesn’t only give life to a nice and functioning  product, as they’re used to make it in a smart way as well.

Never as today we are aware of the huge environmental situation we’re all facing.  Thanks to the medias that everyday provide us with several information, we’re able  to supervise the amount of waste that are daily made, from all of us. We’re talking  about harmful waste, for our Earth, which is hosting us.

The UASHMAMA crew wants to be aware of a duty: working hard to create our  circle of life, a real circular economy. We’re use to regenerate new material from  the waste we produce.

LET’S TALK ABOUT NUMBERS: WHAT IS “ZERO WASTE”?

“Zero waste” is a project born is 2020, when our daily waste consumption was  tantamount to 35 kilos; our aim is to reduce the AGGO waste in order of a 90%.

Today, by recovering and reconverting this material, we achieved a 20% reduction of  the waste we usually consume every day.

TURNING OUR WASTE

UASHMAMA creates real packaging systems, which are able to realize boxes to pack  some of our items, such as the glasses-holder or the “coin purse”.

Our main goal in recovering the waste material is to reconvert it in packaging, labels,  internal reinforcement for bags, accessories.

The labels we’re used to sew into our bags, the decorative tags, the washable-paper  sack bands: all of these items comes from re-used waste.

Moreover, the non-compliant products with troubles originated by wrong colours or  prints, get re-used as a packaging material.

THE TRUE CHALLENGE

Converting a waste into a good looking, simple, innovative, true to tradition and  functioning product is not taken for granted.

It’s like taking care of your body: keeping yourself in a good shape requires hard  work. As much as our washable paper!

We strongly believe in our actions, in the planet we’re living in and in our  UASHMAMA little world, that will help us to make a real difference.
